I love zip loc bags but hate that they go into the landfill. I've been washing and re-using them until they fall apart. I'm challenging others to do the same. When they are no longer useful for food storage, I use them for toiletries, small craft items, organization etc. My goal is to save 1 kitchen trashbag full of ziplocs per month from the landfill.

I will recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community.

I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 1 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

I will save up to 8 gallons (30 L) of water each day by turning it off while brushing my teeth.

I will volunteer 1 hour(s) in my community.
