Create Your Own Action

Sign a petition everyday for an environmental cause

I will sign an online petition for an environmental cause each day of the challenge through various NGO's that support rain forests, non-human animal welfare, conservation, CO2 reduction, clean water, etc. My goal is to increase my participation in speaking up for matters that I'm passionate about. I picked this because change starts with yourself and I need to be more involved and hope this will allow me to be more a part of the global community and eventually donate time, money, or support more than I already am in the future.

Took the Energy Trust Home Energy Review and my home is one of the most efficient single-family homes in my neighborhood. There is 11% in potential savings and I know those savings are mostly in my electric hot water heater, which is not efficient at all.
