    Way to go Hennebery Eddy team! 6th out of 600 is not terrible! I love how varied and custom the EcoChallenge is, allowing each of us to find the changes and activities that make sense and matter most. The collective impact is pretty incredible!

    Much thanks to @andreatrulove for her presentation on organic farming this morning! Not only was it very informative, but she shared her family farm's personal story of making the shift from conventional to organic. Not an easy path, but what an impact!

    The first half of this challenge overlapped with a wonderful Spain/Portugal vacation. Each day was spent, in no particular order, as follows: walking the streets by foot; using public transportation and tiny fuel efficient vehicles; enjoying the local foods and beverages; living out of a single backpack; purchasing only things of necessity; checking internet only occasionally; using minimal water; and observing the sights/sounds/smells of each unique place with an open mind and fresh perspective. My goal for the second half of the challenge, now that I'm back to the daily grind, is carry these things into all that I do in my regular life....to simplify and enjoy :)
