Mitchell Bunting 10/18/2017 6:50 PMAs far as energy goes, I used to keep my fans going in my dorm 24/7. Even as the temperature cooled off, my roommate and I both had two fans going. Now, I've convinced him to unplug both fans with me when we're not using them during the day, as well as keep lights off as much as possible. I also used to use my brothers car to make trips to the grocery store and any other errand I had to run. Since the beginning of the challenge I've been using my bike for long distances and walking for shorter distances. While reducing CO2 emissions, I also feel more productive and energized after doing these activities. Finally, I've learned over the past couple days how to speed up my showers and am usually able to get in and out successfully in under 5 minutes when I used to spend around 10 minutes every day. I also have been shutting water off the entire time I brush my teeth instead of only part of the time. Overall, this has been a great experience integrating simple, but effective ways into my every day habits.
