    Decluttering by packing light for business trip. I've downgraded to "more mindful eating" - I can only commit to two meals each day without reading . Know your limits!

    failed on 2 counts today. Read paper while eating breakfast. Took a few items from the KEEN clothes / gear swap. I gave WAY MORE than I took, but I was still unable to resist a few fun things.

    No purchases today,,,,trying to have a few "buy nothing" days each week! Still cleaning closets at home ahead of KEEN Clothing / Gear swap Tuesday.

    Failed to eat mindfully at breakfast - lured by Sunday Paper!!!!Accomplished more closet cleaning and making note of expenditures day by day.

    Changing my clothes from warm to cold weather this weekend - and getting rid of everything I did not wear over the past season!

    "Mindful Eating" is so hard! Last night at dinner I was very distracted by the "family debris" on our dining table. School work, media, coupons, brochures.....so hard not to read. No electronic devices (hard rule on that already), but printed obstacles galore.

    Brought in 3 pairs of eyeglasses and 2 retired cell phones to recycle via Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation (fellow KEENer has collections boxes on the 4th floor). Also hauled in more items for the upcoming Clothing and Gear Swap. Recycling and Decluttering in one fell swoop! Did not purchase anything yesterday. Just thinking about tracking the expenses pushed the NEED/WANT calculus front and center. Don't NEED it? Don't buy it!
