    In order to get more exercise, save on gas, but most importantly to spend more time with my daughter, I have been walking with her to school most days this school year.

    I went for a 5k run yesterday and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

    My family and I have a meal plan for the week and go shopping for all of the ingredients on Sunday for the next week. This helps make it easier to prepare a healthy, home cooked meal even during our busy weekly schedules.

    Over the weekend I went for a run outside and visited a local farm to get pumpkins for Halloween and purchase locally grown produce.

    I am making a conscious effort to turn off the lights when I leave the room or if I see a light on in a room not being used I go and turn it off too.
