Jill Sibbald 10/23/2017 4:21 PMHowever, I failed in the 'do not accept bags' challenge for the day. Our boots were so muddy from the patch and I didn't bring enough for all of the dirty pumpkins AND the muddy boots. I'll recycle them though, so they won't end up in the landfill. -
Jill Sibbald 10/23/2017 4:17 PMThe rain stopped falling long enough for us to visit our favorite pumpkin patch on Sunday. There was plenty of mud, however ! Also purchased corn on the cob and fresh carrots for snacking. I love Thistledown Farm !-

I'm always amazed at how much water is saved when I turn off the faucet while brushing my teeth. It's a great practice I continue since joining the Eco Challenge a few years ago.-
Kim Martin 10/20/2017 10:33 AMGood for you! Practice makes perfect! :)

Jill Sibbald 10/18/2017 9:01 AMWe didn't make it to Thistledown this past weekend, but rain or shine, we'll get there on Sunday. I love taking my granddaughter and family to the patch to find our pumpkins and eat the apple cider donuts ! Yum. -
Jill Sibbald 10/13/2017 3:11 PMI hope to visit Thistledown Farm this weekend and pick up some pumpkins and apples - yum ! Making soup in the crock pot today with carrots I picked up there 2 weeks ago. Seems like a good idea for this gloomy, rainy day. -
Jill Sibbald 10/12/2017 4:02 PMHad a HUGE yard sale this past weekend and was determined that I would only allow 5 boxes of 'treasures' back into the garage from the items that didn't sell. Two truck loads of unwanted items made it's way to the thrift store over the weekend and there is at least one more pile/truck load waiting to go. We'll see how much more I can/should add to it this weekend. My goal is to be able to park my car in the garage by Halloween !
