Chase McOmber 10/22/2017 11:52 PMI've brushed the dust off a reusable bag and utilize it whenever I go shopping now; we have always kept and recycled plastic bags in our home previously but it's apparent that it doesn't change the outcome of these bags being disposed of eventually, and the impact they will undeniably have on the environment for years. -
Chase McOmber 10/20/2017 11:38 PMYesterday while shopping I found a clearance glass water bottle that I've been constantly drinking water from for the past two days. I use it in place of bottles and cups to reduce my consumption and waste. -
Chase McOmber 10/18/2017 11:02 PMToday I combined two of my challenges, eating a whole foods diet, and only buying items required for health and safety. This combination makes a greater impact because not only does it slow the treadmill of consumption by simplifying my intake, but it also cuts out consumption of meat. -
Chase McOmber 10/15/2017 8:51 PMI chose quite a few acions from the simplicity section because I already tend to live pretty minimally already, but there were areas I wanted to improve and see how that could be making an impact on sustainability. De-cluttering my home, eating mindfully, and eating whole foods were effective ways for me to start my eco-challenge and mindful eating was probably my favorite.
