Climbed our ladder outside today to clean out  the second floor clothes dryer cover that  catches the dryer lint. Collected the lint and put it in the compost.

Kitchen compost is overflowing after precutting  several kinds of raw veggies for the veggie snack box. I just packed it in more and shut the lid and hope it stays on till morning when it will go into compost.

Used my Chico reusable shopping bag while at the mall today. I really like how the ripstop  nylon seems to expand to hold a large amount of purchases.

A head of Romaine lettuce was forgotten in the produce drawer in refrigerator.
Part of the lettuce was brown and went into the kitchen compost. I don't like wasting food, but knew that the ruined lettuce will make good compost in the garden.

Some of my ripe tomatoes had Blossom End Rot. Saved about half of each tomato and composted the bad parts I had to cut out.

Simply amazing how fast the kitchen compost container fills. Feeling good that it's not going to the land fill.

We have a lot of compost helpers in our compost bin. Lots of flying insects, red worms and other bugs are busy making our kitchen compost into a great addictive for our garden.
