Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:08 AMI've decided to no longer eat pork, so I am replacing it with more veggies in every meal! -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:08 AMI bought fall watermelon radishes at my local farmers market. They had green tops and I made radish top soup, and cooked up a lovely fall soup for very little cost. All local, all healthy, all the way! -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:06 AMGetting more sleep is so important. I'm feeling better- coupled with lessening screen time before bed, too- and waking up more refreshed. I bought a fit bit in order to better track my sleep and it's helpful to see the patterns. -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:05 AMLessening screen time is a challenge with all that happens in a day. I've really enjoyed this challenge as a way to take a forced break from looking at my phone, computer, or other things and reading a new book. -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:04 AMI've been using mason jars with metal lids to carry my lunch and only using my Klean Kanteen to reduce my coffee cup waste. -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 11:04 AMI'm loving eating more meals outside! It's been beautiful autumnal weather in the D.C. area and it's a great way to get fresh air and exercise. -
Ashleigh Burgess 10/23/2017 10:52 AMI began keeping a journal to write down one thing that I am grateful for each day. It helps keep me focused and grounded!
