For me the Eco Challenge was very interesting. I have never done anything like it before but i think it is a good experience and would recommend it to anyone. I had to make the conscious effort to save energy and go out and explore nature and i really enjoyed it. La Crosse is a beautiful area to explore and I also feel a lot better about my energy use. All in all i think this challenge was very beneficial and im glad we did it.

This past weekend i volunteered at River watch. It wasnt a pleasant weekend to be standing outside by the river but i know how dangerous falling into the river can be. While i was there i also picked up any trash that i saw laying around. It was a good experience and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a volunteer opportunity.
