It's been a pleasure being a part of this challenge.  Thank you for helping me do my part to make this a better world and for making me a better person because of it.  :)

The first few days of the challenge I wasn't sure if I could make it.  Only a few more days to go and all I can think about is how much I like this way of living -- I think I'll keep it.  :)

I'm finally getting into a groove.  I can definitely see how another week of these positive changes could be permanent changes!  However, by summer I am going to have to figure out how to shave my legs during a five minute shower -- eek!

Day 2: 5 minute shower -- still hairy legs.  Lot of grumbling from my family about the temperature but I'm standing strong. Plenty of things to be thankful for and plenty of rain and beautiful leaves falling to witness nature.  Still no glimpse of an actual "sun" rise but it did get light out!  No screen time/e-mail until I got to work (including this blog).  :)

Day 1:  I showered in 5 minutes (no, my legs are NOT shaved). I flushed my toilet only once after installation of my toilet tank bank. I enjoyed the sunrise with my daughter (okay, "cloud lightening," no visible sun) while explaining to her that it's okay to wear socks to bed when the temp is turned down - or would she prefer to experience the unfortunate life of living in a tent with way too many others.  We then spent at least 10 minutes cleaning nature off the dogs paws and the kitchen floor.  I walked to my bus stop instead of driving to a park and ride. I abstained from checking my e-mail until I arrived at the office. Feeling pretty darn good about myself. :)

Okay, I've chosen the maximum number of challenges. I am a "bit" competitive and an overachiever. Let's see if I can turn that into a positive, mindful approach to balance my life, instead of the exhausting way I tend to live. The image attached is my motivation -- pretty easy to want to succeed.
